The Industrial Revolution dramatically changed European society—socially, politically, and economically. New technologies like the telephone, railroad, and light bulb, for example, changed the way Europeans lived and worked. We are going to try and instill some of that appreciation for technology by combining current day technology with historical information by using a BLOG.

General Store Owner #1
Everything is going well still. With the Industrial Revolution only growing, more and more people are moving into my town. More people means more goods need to made and sold. Hundreds of people come into my shop each day and I am beginning to expand my business with other family members running chains of my store. The money keeps flowing. I am grateful my kids don't need to go work in the factories since I have so much money now. The Industrial revolution has made my life better and I am now nearly as rich as the factory owners. I could be the next Rockefeller.
